TRUE Fitness just wrapped at the biggest fitness tradeshow in the industry, IHRSA 2018. This tradeshow is the place to be for health club operators and gym owners or managers to see the newest and best fitness equipment in the world. For TRUE, this year’s tradeshow, held March 22nd-23rd in San Diego, California was the best yet!
TRUE equipment provides solutions to commercial fitness facilities through their cardio and strength products. This year at IHRSA, TRUE had a new look with bright colors, inviting graphics and equipment in a new color scheme. Equipment at the show included our top commercial treadmills, ellipticals and bikes to functional trainers, single-station machines and Composite Strength machines.
Making an appearance again was the TRUE Alpine Runner Incline Trainer®, equipped with the new Ignite™ HIIT console. There was an entire area for users to experience its intense incline range of negative 3 percent to 30 percent. There were over 100 people who participated in the Alpine Runner® Challenge, which consisted of trying the TRUE Alpine Runner® at 30 percent incline for one minute up to 6 miles per hour. Many individuals completed the challenge were entered to win a grand prize. All participants received a TRUE goodie bag filled with items from challenge sponsors.
In addition to the TRUE Alpine Runner®, other cardio equipment that was on display included more of our commercial treadmills, bikes and ellipticals like the Spectrum and Traverse.
The booth would not have been complete without some of our top strength machines too. The Full Body Press, Glute Press, and Ab Crunch/Back Row machines were all very popular at the tradeshow. Each of the machines has Composite Motion® Technology that integrates functional exercises in one controlled movement. This technology makes them all ideal pieces to have in your club so users can have a more effective workout experience in much less time.
In addition to TRUE’s Composite Strength equipment, key XFW strength pieces and a new functional trainer were also on display. The XFW line-up offers health club operators a variety of machine and weight stack options to place in their facility to represent the best in form, function and reliability. Along with the XFW pieces, a few popular FUSE XL single-station machines were lined up on the floor for attendees to try out as they visited the booth. The FUSE XL machines are designed to be space efficient and budget friendly for commercial facilities that may be limited on open areas in their gyms or clubs.
TRUE also offered a glimpse into a few new console options for TRUE commercial cardio equipment.
The new Ignite™ console, programmed specifically to accommodate interval-training style workouts, was featured on the Alpine Runner® and a C900 treadmill. The Ignite allows exercisers to transition between work and rest intervals with the quick-touch speed and incline keys located on the right and left outer edges of the console. The other console that will be featured on TRUE treadmills, ellipticals and bikes is the Envision™. With the Envision™ Premium, individuals can track their data, discover built-in workout programs and enjoy numerous entertainment options.
The Envision™ Premium is another new console introduced at IHRSA and is expected to be available by summer of 2018. The Envision Premium™ elevates facility, member and trainer experiences with its contemporary design, intuitive framework and premium network fitness solutions to maximize engagement and the user’s experience. The console syncs real time data and analytics to encourage more member engagement and retention both for the user and the club.
TRUE Trainers Collyn, Mike and Danny had the chance to help TRUE at the IHRSA booth by engaging with customers and showing proper technique on TRUE equipment.
Trainer Mike and Danny both stayed busy showing individuals how to use the TRUE Composite Strength machines and talked about the benefits that each provide to end users and facilities. Trainer Collyn demonstrated the best cardio and console options TRUE can provide for your facility. Two-time boxing world champion and celebrity trainer, Danny Musico was also a huge asset to the TRUE team this year at IHRSA 2018. Musico encouraged people to participate in the Alpine Runner® challenge and demonstrated the multiple features of the TRUE Alpine Runner®.
