TRUE FITNESS ANNOUNCES UNIVERSITY COLLEGE CORK INSTALLATION

St. Louis, MO: October 31, 2019 – TRUE Fitness, manufacturer of commercial cardio and strength equipment since 1981, is proud to announce the newest installation at University College Cork’s Mardyke Arena in Cork, Ireland in partnership with Art of Fitness. The Mardyke Arena UCC chose TRUE Fitness to be the exclusive equipment provider of their two cardio gyms and free weights gym. The contract was awarded after a long interview process amongst several fitness equipment manufacturers.

“We were really impressed with the TRUE presentation. It was an exciting opportunity to work with a company that had energy and ambition. We’re really pleased with what we’ve seen. We needed a brand that had a reputation but also had the track record of being able to sustain a very heavy demand. It wasn’t just selling us something and I think it got TRUE over the line,” said Patsy Ryan, General Manager – Mardyke Arena / UCC.

With the installation of a full suite of cardio and strength machines, University College Cork students, faculty, staff, and the general public will have access to premium TRUE Fitness equipment. With a footfall of 650,000+ annually, the Mardyke Arena was looking to stay ahead of the trends to keep their equipment and facility at the highest standards.

“The design of the equipment has allowed us to increase the volume of equipment available for members & patrons. We now have more functional space which is a huge growth area in the industry at present. The Mardyke Arena is committed to continuously reviewing and improving the Customer Experience to ensure our programmes, activities and service delivery are centralised around the needs of our members and patrons,” said Wayne Falvey, Marketing & Quality Manager, Mardyke Arena UCC.

The Mardyke Arena UCC was redesigned with zones to maximize space and equipment experience. The cardiovascular zones are filled with TRUE’s newest cardio equipment including the Alpine Runner and Palisade Climber. The strength zone offers a full lineup of TRUE strength equipment, including the Composite Strength series, and custom painted strength machines.
