Showrunner II Console Recall

On July 27, 2023, TRUE Fitness Technology Inc. issued a voluntary recall of the ShowRunner II console with included wireless phone charger sold from September 2021 to September 19, 2022, and will be offering customers a replacement console. This voluntary recall is being conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

Please read the below notice carefully.

Your safety is very important to us. This notice contains important information about what to do next if you think you may have purchased an affected console.

This recall involves Showrunner II Fitness Consoles. The console is a 16-inch Integrated Personal Viewing System (“PVS”) LCD Console for use with True Fitness exercise products created for commercial facilities, including treadmills, upright bikes, recumbent bikes, ellipticals, or stepmills. The console containing the wireless phone charger with an uncovered mounting bracket is a component part of certain True Fitness exercise equipment. The recall applies to True Fitness Product numbers: C4P, C4PAE, C4PBE, C4PES, C4PVC, C4PM, C4PMAE, C4PMBE, C4PMES, C4PMVC.

REASON FOR RECALL: An exposed area of the wireless charging board can come into contact with other internal wiring, posing a fire hazard. While no injuries have been reported to date, this condition is serious and could result in injury and/or property damage.

Consumers should immediately turn off and unplug the exercise equipment containing the console and contact True Fitness to receive a replacement console.

Consoles will need to be removed from base to view product number label.
